12 Weeks - May 6th
Had a bit of a scare on May 6th, woke up and had a bit of bleeding. Apparently, I had a subchronic hematoma that formed at conception. Around 2cms. Charlie was out of town in Kentucky, so that made it double scary! But little turkey looked great on the ultrasound. Swimming around happily and kept showing me his butt. ;) Had a strong heartbeat at 176...I think cause he was swimming. The doctor said that he looked like he was measuring a bit small, but after going back for my follow up doc appointment this past Monday (May 11th), my doctor looked at the paperwork and it seems the comments just came out wrong, 'ol Turkey was measuring right on track at 12 weeks 1 day. (160 bpm at the appt) The doctor put the doppler right on my stomach and immediately heard the heartbeat, and then a crazy sound that sounded like a record player scratching...and she said "that was movement"! Yep, I think we are in for an active little squirt! :) Next appt is June 9th at 2:30.
